GRADUATING STUDENT OPINION SURVEY | |||||||||
The Office of Institutional Research and Academic Planning is responsible for the administration of the Rutgers Graduating Student Opinion Survey (GSOS) to all graduating seniors at the university. The survey is designed to elicit information and student opinion on the various departments, operations, and services at the university; and graduating students evaluation of their academic and nonacademic experiences at Rutgers, including extracurricular activities, extent and type of faculty contact, and student employment. The survey also seeks to determine student's short- and long-range academic and career goals, and the extent to which Rutgers contributed to their attainment of such goals. This survey provides graduating seniors the opportunity to speak directly about their experiences at Rutgers. The university will use the information obtained from the survey to assess current levels and kinds of services, and to improve efforts at meeting student needs. Summarized results may also be used for scholarly publication. All responses are confidential and no personally identifiable information will be released. While the survey is voluntary, the better the response rate, the more helpful the information will be in providing better services to future Rutgers students.
